Campaign Tags

Campaign Tags allows you to group like emails together in order to generate a single report that provides aggregated reporting metrics, as well as reporting by email ticket for that group.  Campaign Tags are added during the email configuration step of an email send and the same tag can be applied to one or many emails.

Creating a Campaign Tag

Campaign Tags are created on the Campaign Tag reporting manager. To create a Campaign Tag, follow the steps below.

  1. Enter the name of the Campaign Tag in the Create New Campaign Field.
  2. Click Create.

Once created, the Campaign Tag is available to use in an email send.

Campaign Tag Reports

When first accessing Campaign Tags, you will initially see the reporting manager.  The reporting manager provides you with basic information regarding each Campaign report. To access the reporting metrics, click on the name of the Campaign Tag.

Once in the Campaign report, you will be able to access the cumulative reporting metrics, as well as the reporting metrics for each email send that included the tag. To access the Email Ticket report for the individual sends, please click on the name of the email activity.

The timeframe for the Journey Sends Report can be changed by using the calendar to adjust the date range for the report.  Please note that Campaign Report has a max time frame of 30 days. To change the date range for the report, please follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the green Report icon next to the date range in the blue bar at the top of the report.
  2. Select your date range from the available options or create a custom date range.
  3. Click Apply to apply the new date range to the report.

Once the new date range is applied, the reporting metrics and email sends will update to reflect the new date range.

Cumulative Results

The Cumulative Results displays the aggregate total of all email sends included in the date range.  When the date range is changed the cumulative results will update to reflect the new date range.  The full campaign report, including all mailings, can be accessed by clicking the Text link next to the Download History in the cumulative results bar.  Once clicked, you can enter your email address and you will receive an email when the report is available for download from the iPost FTP.
