Assets Library

Updated on

The Assets Library allows you to host images and documents within iPost that you can refer to in your emails.

Most HTML mailings include images. A mailing may also link to an external file. These mailing assets must be placed on a server and made accessible to the Internet in order for recipients to view them from the mailing. If you do not have access to a server where you can host your images, or you are concerned that serving file requests will negatively impact your server performance, you may host mailing assets in iPost.

The Assets Library can be accessed from the Content Creation menu.

The default maximum image upload size is 292 KB. Other file types must be 1 MB or smaller in size. Contact iPost Client Services if you need the maximum file sizes increased.

Supported File Types:

  • .gif
  • .jpeg/.jpg
  • .png
  • .pdf
  • .doc/.docx
  • .CSS
  • .woff
  • .woff2
  • .ttf
  • .svg
  • .eot

Uploading Files

To upload assets, you may drag and drop your files from your computer to the Drag your files here box. You may also browse for the files hosted on your computer or attach an online resource using Cloud Connect. The available cloud drives are:

  • Google Drive
  • Box
  • Amazon Cloud Drive
  • OneDrive
  • Link (URL)

To disconnect from the cloud drive, mouse-over the check mark on the right side of the name of the cloud drive. Click on the “X” and follow the prompt.

Once your file has been uploaded you can copy the image link to use in your HTML document.
