Notification Journey

Notification journeys are a specific type of journey that trigger confirmation emails based on actions taken by subscribers on the native subscription form. These journeys are prebuilt and can be enabled as needed. 

Types of Notification Journeys

Notification Journeys consist of the Subscription Notification, the Opt Out Notification, and Change of Email Address Notification.

Subscription Notification

The Subscription Notification journey is triggered when a subscriber signs up to receive emails via the native subscription form.

Opt Out Notification

This journey is triggered when a subscriber globally opt outs via the native subscription from.

Change of Email Address Notification

This journey is triggered when a subscriber changes their email address via the native subscription form.

Enabling Notification Journeys

Notification Journeys are disabled by default. To enable Notification Journeys, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Delivery Management
  3. Go to Notification Journeys
  4. Toggle the button to enable the specific journey

Email Content

The content of the emails for the Notification Journeys is located in the Notification folder in the Email Manager.  They are Paste HTML emails and can be editable as needed.  Once edited, they cannot be reverted to the original content.

Journey

The various journeys are located in the Notification folder in the Automation Manager.  The journeys are active by default but will only trigger if the Notification Journey functionality is enabled.

The Notification Journeys can also be used in conjunction with custom preference centers.  When building the custom preference page, simply use the corresponding journey ID to trigger off a Notification Journey email.
