Zapier

Updated on

Zapier lets you connect iPost to 2,000+ other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise would not be possible.

Each Zap has one app as the ‘Trigger’, where your information comes from and which causes one or more ‘Actions’ in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically.

Sign up for a free Zapier account, from there you can jump right in.

Once the Zapier Integration has been enabled in your account, follow these steps to connect to the iPost App.

  1. Log into your Zapier account or create a new account
  2. Navigate to "My Apps" from the top menu bar
  3. Click on "Connect a new account..." and search for iPost
  4. User your credentials to connect your iPost account to Zapier

iPost Configuration

If pushing data from iPost to another App, you will need to create an automation to run the Zapier activity first so that it can be connected in your Zap.  The Zapier configuration will be looking for the name of the activity in the automation.  Please see Activities for more information on configuring these activities.is also looking for this information when you configure the Zap.

Automations with Zapier activities cannot be activated until the activity is connected to a Zap.  Once connected, that URL to the Zap will be present in the activity.

If pushing data through Zapier into a list in iPost, you must make the list public by toggling on the 'Public' permission under the list's properties.
